The replica should push firmly into place by following the supplied directions but may require glue to fit permanently. Any 60's kid that dropped their XL5 on a tile floor was probably reduced to tears when the fragile rocket engine shattered. This part was very difficult to mold from a near perfect toy and is authentically reproduced in every detail, measuring 2.25 x 1.5 inches with both booster rockets present and accounted for. The original wings rarely snapped off perfectly and usually left a jagged stub or additional damage to the hull. So: This part will require some basic plastic model kit building experience along with appropriate glue and tools to replace the wing seamlessly. Directions and repair suggestions are supplied but make sure you are confident and capable of attempting the repair before ordering.
