Krusher
By Euphrates
Krusher The Krusher is just one of many action figures that Mattel churned out in 1979. This figure was made of green rubber and stood an intimidating 15-inches tall. The thing that makes this monster unique was his ability to, well, morph! A child could "krush" The Krusher like you would a leaky baseketball and lock him into that size courtesy of a valve on his belt. Then, release the valve and he springs back to his original size!

The Krusher is a hard find, despite his age and lack of popularity. I'm not sure why The Krusher did not enjoy a longer run, especially considering the success of his Kenner cousin Stretch Armstrong. He had the name, the look and a gimmick but the 3 and 3/4 inch action figure rage of the late '70s and early '80s may have deflated the Krusher forever.
