Go-Gos
By Euphrates
Go-Gos These dolls were released in 1966 along with their cousins, the Fighting Tigers, and have many similarities. Both series of eight figures were housed in their own display case with their own unique personality. Like the Tigers, the Go-Gos are also 6 inches tall with bendy style articulation and marked 1965 Deluxe Reading.

Each Go Go came with a few accessories and a way-out name that matched her character like:

Private Ida - Private Detective with Spycase, Overcoat and Hat (most common)
Slick Chick with Poodle and Brush
Tomboy with Baseball Gear (2nd most common)
The Swinger - Dancer with Bracelets and Necklace
Brenda Brush - Artist with Brush and Paints
Hot Canary - Night Club Singer with Micophone and Stand
Yeah Yeah - Stewardess with Suitcase
Cool Cat - Folk Singer with Guitar
Basic Doll with 6 Outfits

The girls are hard to find with their case, case backing and paperwork and accessories. What makes these figures especially attractive for collectors is that despite their relative obscurity, you can still find them MIB for under $45.
